A glimpse into my journey and dedication to public service
Hello! I'm Eunice Ohenewaa Ansu.
Hon. Eunice Ohenewaa Ansu is a trailblazing leader in Ghanaian politics and community development. As the first female Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Juaben Municipal Assembly in the Ashanti Region, she was confirmed in May 2025 by the Assembly Members under President John Mahama's nomination.
With a background in finance, Eunice works at the National Investment Bank PLC (NIB). She holds educational qualifications from Ghana Baptist University College and Sunyani Senior High School.
A dedicated member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Eunice serves as the MCE for Juaben. Her passion for community service shines through in initiatives supporting education, agriculture, security, and efforts to combat illegal mining (galamsey) in the region.
Eunice is committed to uplifting every child and resident in Juaben, embodying the spirit of progress and inclusivity.

Key accomplishments and ongoing projects for Juaben as of December 2025
First Female MCE
Confirmed as the pioneering female Municipal Chief Executive for Juaben in May 2025, breaking barriers for women in leadership.
Education Support
Provided assorted items and cash donations to prospective Senior High School students; visited schools during BECE 2025 to support candidates, including assistance during emergencies.
Agricultural Initiatives
Distributed 5000 day-old chicks to Nana Abeyie Farms under the "Nkoko Nkitinkiti" initiative on December 1, 2025, to boost local agriculture and food security. Conducted inspection visit on November 24, 2025.
Community Advocacy
Actively addressing issues like galamsey, police jurisdiction for security, and overall municipal development in Ashanti Region. Appealed to IGP for police re-demarcation to combat robberies on November 7, 2025.
Philanthropy & Anti-Corruption
Hosted philanthropists and supported community welfare programs. Participated in GACC anti-corruption training workshop on November 7, 2025.
Political Dedication
Served as NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Juaben in 2024 elections, garnering significant support. Continues to promote NDC policies as MCE.

Nkoko Nkitinkiti Initiative
November 2025 - Promoting the poultry initiative.
The Nkokor Nketenkete program, envisioned by HE John Dramani Mahama, aims to transform Ghana's poultry sector and promote food security by distributing 3 million poultry birds across 276 constituencies and over 60,000 households. The initiative seeks to boost local poultry production, reduce meat imports, and create jobs. In Juaben Constituency, a beneficiary is thriving with their allocation. The program supports long-term national development through productive initiatives. Recently, the president cut sod for a poultry and meat processing factory at Bechem to enhance production. The post calls for Ghanaians to support the government's agenda for building Ghana.
Appeal to IGP
November 2025 - Addressing security concerns in Juaben.
The Juaben Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Eunice Ohenewaa Ansu (MCE) has appealed to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and Dr. Frank Amoakohene, Ashanti Regional Minister, for a vehicle for the constituency's security offices.
Education Support Message
October 2025 - Passionate about children's education.
As a passionate mother who cares about every child, especially Juaben children, I believe every child must have access to quality education. I disagree with the view that "nature hasn't been fair," asserting instead that "man has created the unfairness." To promote balance, the Juaben Municipal Assembly supported BECE candidates who excelled in the recent exams with assorted items and cash donations for prospective SHS students. This aligns with President John Dramani Mahama's vision for quality, accessible, and affordable education for all Ghanaians, easing parents' burdens and encouraging students.
Clean Surroundings Campaign
August 2025 - Promoting cleanliness in Juaben.
The video post announces a cleaning initiative in Juaben and greater Kumasi, led by Regional Minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene, with the goal of making Ghana clean. It urges Ghanaians to support President John Dramani Mahama's efforts by participating in this monthly course.
